In Ferryman: Hades Roguelike, you take on the role of Charon, a ferryman tasked with transporting the dead across the River Styx in the ancient Greek underworld.  As a ferryman, you must navigate the challenges of this treacherous environment to fulfill your duties and transport the dead souls to Hades.

With wars and epidemics taking their toll, my home—Hades—is now overflowing. Despite the chaos, I must continue my duty of ferrying the dead across the River Styx, even as their numbers grow. The inhabitants of Hades are increasingly frustrated with the overcrowding, viewing me as an intruder in their realm. They are doing everything they can to stop me from bringing more souls to Hades. Yet, I am merely the ferryman. I didn’t set these rules; it’s not my place to alter them. Regardless of the challenges I face, I will persist in my task of transporting the deceased through the rivers of Hades. But ultimately, someone must be held accountable for this situation. I am Charon, and this is my tale...
