Back Wars combines large-scale world domination with hands-on battlefield control. Hundreds of warriors from diverse cultures clash as territory changes hands across a living map. Battles can be experienced from two perspectives: direct control of a single warrior on the front lines, or high-level command of entire armies issuing orders across the battlefield. 

Time-Travel Strategy Campaign

Fight for control of the world in a campaign mode where territories must be fortified or invaded. Expansion requires careful planning, as only half of a territory’s forces can be mobilised, making defence naturally stronger than attack.

Massive Real-Time Battles

Engage in fully interactive battles featuring hundreds of warriors on screen. Zoom in to fight as an individual or zoom out to oversee the chaos as entire armies collide.

Commander and Direct Control Modes

Switch seamlessly between controlling a single character and activating Commander mode. Issue orders by directing units across the battlefield, allowing warriors to relocate, attack, or interact with objects based on situational priorities.

Global Cultures and Armies

Lead warriors drawn from cultures around the world, each contributing to the scale and diversity of the conflict. Populations grow over time, and units gradually recover, encouraging strategic movement and long-term planning.
